Allergy Attack!

Happy Thursday!

Allergy Attack

Holy crap. This morning and afternoon has been an all out barrage on my sinuses. It’s as if all of the pollen, dander, grass and mold in the world rose up and flew into my nose this morning. My nose was swollen shut from inside my sinuses. Does that make sense? It was as if it sealed up in the back of my throat. Snot was everywhere. I had a 15 minute sneezing attack.  I couldn’t take in air (I know. Obviously I had to have taken in some air. Shut up.) without triggering a sneezing fit. All of this took place in the lobby of a major company that I was shooting promotional videos for. The last 3 hours have been a blur.  I am filled to the brim with allergy medicine and can barely stay awake. I almost fell asleep in the middle of a scene. Holy smokes, folks. Holy smokes.  I think it’s time to give this Zrytec stuff a shot. Oh, who am I kidding? I’ll just buy some Wal-I-Tin (I’m guessing that’s not how it’s spelled). I have no idea how this stuff is different from what I’m currently taking, but people speak of it as if it were the follow up to the Bible, so I’ll give her a go.

Talk to you tomorrow. I should be in better spirits, what with Indiana Jones in my future and all. You’ll know if we’re in the same theater. I’ll be the asshole who can’t stop sneezing.

I’m taking both Waladryl (before bed) and Walitin (in the morning) for my ongoing issues.

Walitin is the Walgreens version of Claritin, whose active ingredient is Loratadine.

It’s not as strong an antihistamine as Diphenhydramine (Benadryl/Waladryl), but it doesn’t make you drowsy.

If we’re in a theater together and you’re sneezing, I’ll be sure to throw something at your head. I’m sure that will help a ton.

I don’t EVER get allergies, like, EVER, and even I have been plagued with a stuffly nose and sneezing fits for the past week. Sheesh. Even worse is that I don’t even get to the sneezing fit part most of the time, it’s just a constant needing to sneeze and it not coming out. I hate that!
