This Blog Is Going Away…
Happy Wednesday!
1. I’ve been blogging for a while now, several years to be less than exact. For the most part, I’ve really liked writing it, but now, it’s time for me to move on to another cyber project.
Starting in the new year, this site will have a new name and instead of it just being a blog dedicated to me and all of my handsome pursuits, it will become a story based website.
There are so many wonderful comedians, writers and storytellers in this city and hopefully this site can be a place for us to post our work. For the most part, I want the stories to be recorded, but honestly I’m up for anything. I just want to get all the great stories Minneapolis has to offer out into the cyberworld.
If this sounds cool to you and you’re interested in posting a story, let me know! Leave me a comment or email me at mikefotis@gmail.com. In a few weeks, I’ll be posting something akin to a sign up sheet that will serve as a submission form.
I will also be running some names for the new site by you guys, just for shits and giggles.
Other information about the site will be posted here as that information becomes available.
If you’re reading this and saying to yourself, “Fuck this shit. I am done with this blog!”, I understand and would like to thank you for reading my poorly thought out ramblings for as long as you have. You deserve a medal for surviving such a horrific assault on grammar.
It was just time for a change. Because let’s face it, blogging isn’t hard and I couldn’t muster up the interest to do it for nearly a month. That had to be a sign. See you soon!

glad to see there will still be something for me to visit when I’m procrastinating on all of the other stuff I should be reading. and also excited to read some new/additional voices.
also, i think “for shits and giggles” is a pretty good name for a website… maybe not quite right for what you’re going for here, but something to keep in mind for future projects

Congrats on your new venture, but please don’t give up the blog at least until the new Top Chef is crowned. We need closure.
